Ghost typing my passcodes and now I’m locked out. Happened at separate times by months and not associated w/ them being connected. Cannot type my passcodes because a ghost is doing it for me and of course the ghost doesn’t have the correct codes.
In what way is your iMac ghost typing?
Your iPad likely has a failing touch screen. You can make an appointment at an Apple store to have that repaired.

Try a wired keyboard with the iMac and see if the issue stops happening.

It’s both my iPad and iMac. No touchscreen on the iMac.

What behavior are you seeing with the iMac? Does the iMac have a wireless keyboard? If so, have the batteries been changed?

They both type on their own- that’s the definition of ghost typing. I cannot enter my codes because as soon as I start typing the “ghost Typer” takes over filling in digits.
It has a magic keyboard w/ rechargeable battery (via lightening connector). Battery cannot be replaced.
