Best adblocker for new MBP M1 with Safari ?

Have just purchased a new MBPro MI with Monterey and Safari browser .

Previous 2014 MBPro used Adguard which worked well .

Have tried Adguard on new machine and it blocks all websites .

Adguard can't come up with a fix .

Suggestions please as to an adblocking program which will work with new machine .

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 12.1

Or Add and Stuff Blocker Safari extension that downloads as an application that you run to install the extension update, and if necessary add to the whitelist.
