Beats Fit Pro - Automatic Switching between devices

I'm using Beats Fit Pro for several weeks, and working on Mac and iPhone (each device has the last OS version). From the very beginning Headphones were automatically switching from Mac to iPhone, but not from iPhone to Mac. Technically on Mac was showing that they are connected, but when I turn on the Music or Video the sound is going from the computer and from Beats Fit Pro. To hear sounds in headphones I need to press Sounds in Menu bar and switch to Beats Fit Pro.

I made surveys on Apple Support about functions that should be turned on, to switch Automatically between devices, and made all movements, that were described in Articles. Nothing happened!..

Then I was serving the Internet to figure out - where is the problem, mostly people are telling to try "forget headphones" and connect them once more. I did it as well, several times. Because when I did it first time it even didn't want to play sound on my iPhone, I used to do the same thing with "Menu Bar", but now on iPhone. After the second time - nothing changed as well.

So now, Technically I'm not able to switch Automatically from iPhone to Mac, but as well when I take out Beats Fit Pro from the case they connect to iPhone, but don't want to translate sound until I visit the "Menu Bar" and switch sound from iPhone to Beats Fit Pro.

May you please tell - what do I need to do, to be free from such problems described higher?

We’re glad you were able to reset the Beats Fit Pro Esenin, and verify that your devices are up to date. With the issue continuing, the next step would be to contact Apple. You can find their contact details via the Get Support website.

Take care!

Hello Esenin,

Beats Fit Pro are great earbuds, and we want to ensure they’re switching between devices as expected. Apple Support Communities is a fantastic place for help!

It sounds as though you’ve forgotten the Beats on your Mac and iPhone, and have walked through additional steps as well. We’re glad you had the chance to do so. In addition to the steps you’ve tried, have you reset your Beats Fit Pro? If not, resetting your Beats would be the right next step. You can find those steps in the article below.

Reset your Beats Fit Pro

Once you’ve reset the Beats, reconnect using the steps outlined in the following article.

Set up and use your Beats Fit Pro

Let us know how that goes!

Dear, MichelleT18,

Thanks for your reply. I've tried to Reset my Beats Fit Pro before. After your reply I did the Reset once more. Unfortunately it didn't help so much. The problem have left - switching from Mac to iPhone works great, but from iPhone to Mac is not working so good. The music on iPhone may stop automatically, but sound still goes from Mac dynamics and not from Beats Fit Pro, until I press "Sounds" in "Menu Bar" and switch by my own from Mac to Beats Fit Pro.

Hope this issue will be fixed with latest updates of MacOS and Beats updates.
