Lid not closing while macbook air is tilted upwards

Hi, I just bought macbook air m1 on 27th of December 2021 and I just noticed that my lid is not closing completely while it is tilted upwards, it is leaving a gap of certain amount of space in between the sceen and keyboard. Is this a manufacturing flaw or is it a design by default?

Any suggestions or leads then please answer my question
