Is it possible to use a Lacie USB C mobile drive (STHG20000402) with a late 2012 27" iMac (thunderbolt 1/2). I have the AppleThunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter but am not getting power to the drive when plugged in.

It appears the Lacie drive is utilizing the USB3 protocol so you need a USB-C to USB-A Adapter. It would help if Lacie would actually mention this on their product page. The only "mention" is "USB 3.0" printed on the box shown in a picture.
