How about this one? https://checkcoverage.apple.com/au/en/
I am not sure whether the above will yield the same results or not.

Thanks again Axel. Information you provided was correct. I am selling an iPhone 12 mini on behalf of a family friend whose husband passed away recently. The Apple website says "product is covered for eligible hardware repairs and service under Apple’s Limited Warranty. Estimated Expiration Date: January 10, 2022". Is it reasonable to assume the phone was purchased on or about this date?
Visit this website ➔ Purchase date verification and Coverage Status. You will need to enter the serial number of the iPhone.

Thanks Axel,
This is a US website that doesn't recognise the Serial #. Is there a separate website for iPhones purchased in Australia?
Yes, The iPhone was purchased on or around January 10th, 2021.
You are welcome.

One other thing to note and that is that, on that iPhone, if you open Settings ➔ General ➔ About : You will also see the status of the Apple Warranty and Support.
