I noticed something called Carousel using cellular and data on my Series 6 Apple Watch. Any articles I’ve found suggest it works with an iOS App called “Friends”, which was discontinued years ago. Why does Carousel show up in my cellular settings on “My Watch”, what is it “connected/associated” with, and why is it using cellular data?

I’ve reset my cellular usage and it no longer appears. I’ll wait to see if it reappears over the month (it originally showed up under the “cellular” menu). Hopefully it was just a glitch of some sort related to my “Contacts”; otherwise, I’m not sure what to make of it, as I’d never heard of it before.
Do you have an App on your iPhone called Carousel?
No. I have never had that app. Seeing that it was using data & cellular today, was the first time ever saw it mentioned or had it come up.
Not sure what to suggest. In my cellular tab on Apple Watch App there is nothing referencing Carousel there.
