iMessages on iPad

I posted earlier this morning about messages and email not syncing on all my devices. It seems this issue is with my iPad (which I am using right now). I have gotten mor messages that are received on my phone but still not on the iPad. I tried send a message on the iPad and I can’t. The send arrow is grayed out after I type the message. It won’t send. And apparently it will not receive either. Any help will do. Thx
