No, and No.


MacBook Pro is a notebook computer, not a display. It has no Video inputs of any description. Its HDMI is an OUTPUT, ONLY.


You can use Screen Sharing to show the screen of one computer in a window on the other. The data are sent across your Home Network {Wi-Fi, Ethernet, mixed}.
