Blu-Ray Authoring

I need a comparable Adobe Encore software to author Blu-Ray & DVD. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've not touched a CD / DVD / Blu-ray in over ten years. Not since most all software went online and with media streaming services, etc. I have a Plex Media Server setup where I place video files to stream around the house and all my devices. I also put all my photos and music on it as well. Any video editing of personal stuff ends up in either Plex or a Cloud service or on USB flash media.

Most of the alternatives to Roxio Toast are not very good and will certainly have problems with newer macOS versions. Meanwhile, Roxio Toast has been around for a long time and is a well known well trusted vendor. Yes, it's expensive. I've looked through several of the alternatives and they are terrible as far as software programs go. I have found that Corel, Inc., the company that owns Roxio has both Toast Burn and Toast DVD apps on the Mac App Store for about $20 each and the Toast DVD mentions blu-ray support with an additional in-app purchase. So that would be cheaper but the full blown Toast Pro is the way to go.
