How do we update the Apple Air Ipad so that we can reinstall Netflix? needs 13 OS and higher and we are on 12.5.5 so need 13 at least. Where can I update to that instead of the 15 as it seems we are not compatible to upgrade to 15? Which is really awful of Apple as this ipad is my sons.

If you own an iPad Air 2 or later you can install the latest iOS update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. If there are no updates available, your device is probably too old to update.
As stated, iPadOS 12.5.5 is the latest version you can run on an original iPad Air.
