Hi,
The eraser functionality seems to have disappeared from the toolbar on iPad notes. Even when I double tap the Apple Pencil it does not show up (and I have changed the iPad settings to set a double tap to change between the eraser and "current tool").
Can anyone help?

I had the same issue today. Tried to restart the iPad, unpair the Pencil to no avail. Ended up making sure all notes were backup up to iCloud and deleted the Notes app. Once re-installed, I was able to gain the all important eraser tool back. Hope that helps!

Hello, I am having the same problem but in the files app instead. I tried restarting my iPad, unpairing the Pencil, and deleted the Files app, but the eraser still has not returned. Just wondering if you have any tips.
I do not have an Apple Pencil. That may well be the fundamental issue you're seeing. And admittedly this is from an iPhone. But my eraser appears just fine in Notes.
Thank you! By uninstalling and installing again the notes app the default tools came back.
