use correct cable message upon start-up
I also have the issue with my 34" LG monitor; I own a new Mac Mini. I am using a curved LG 4K monitor. I get a rectangular message message (I think generated by the LG monitor, not the computer) that is in the center of the screen on every start up for approximately 60 seconds. The Apple mouse pointer will go under, NOT onto, the message. The message is:
"Make sure to use supplied input cables."
It has two options in the rectangle:
1. Do not display this message again
2. Close. Since You can not move to the surface of the message, the choices are not available. This is why I thing it is a message from the LG monitor itself.
However, one can't select either option as the mouse pointer goes under the message box.
Any tips on preventing this message pop-up on every start up, will be greatly appreciated.
