iphone stuck on apple logo

My phone spontaneously froze on apple logo today.

I was able to connect it to my computer in safe mode however it says unable to update and I need to restore it to factory.

My problem is that it hasn't been backed up in a few days.

Is there a way to preserve the photos, ect.

perhaps i can take out the sim for the meantime?

iPhone frozen on apple logo Tried backing up my photos to my iCloud and of course my phone decided to take a shit during it. When I tried turning it back on it froze on the apple logo. I’ve tried pressing and holding the volume buttons and side button, as well as connecting it to my Mac. I don’t have an apple store anywhere near me (closest is over an hour), so that’s not an option. Am I just totally screwed for today? Thanks.
