How do I move calculator to my Home Screen?

I want to pin the calculator on my iPhone to the home page.

Supposedly, all I must do to access it is to swipe up.

I can swipe up repeatedly but control center shows up once in approximately every 100 swipes.

i need the calculator, and flashlight, pinned to my screen…

I love doing basic math in the dark…
