How do I move calculator to my Home Screen?

I want to pin the calculator on my iPhone to the home page.

Supposedly, all I must do to access it is to swipe up.

I can swipe up repeatedly but control center shows up once in approximately every 100 swipes.

i need the calculator, and flashlight, pinned to my screen…

I love doing basic math in the dark…

Follow the instructions in the related article link at the top of the page to move an app. Swipe down from the top right to open the control center.
