I just purchased the iPhone 13 and was unsuccessful in locating and pairing with my existing Sony CMT SBT100 compact stereo. Bluetooth pairing was fine with the previous iPhone 6s & 8s. According to the Sony specs, this stereo supports Bluetooth version 3. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

You mentioned that your stereo is compatible with Bluetooth 3, is that right? According to iPhone 13 Pro Tech Specs, it has Bluetooth 5.0 Wireless technology so that may be a cause for not being able to pair it.

This appears to be an issue with the iPhone 13's BT 5.0 not being backward compatible with the Sony stereo BT.
I guess I'll look for a hardware solution involving a BT 5.0 dongle for the Sony stereo.
