VO2 max measurement issues

My Watch 3 does not measure VO2 max at all. Tried recalibrating, rebooting, unpairing it, but still not getting any readings, doing an 'outdoor walk' workout for 40-90 minutes. Can't try it with running, as I'm just unable to run due to problems with my legs. What else could I do with my watch? Or just better to forget about it?
