iMessage won’t validate phone number

Recently changed provider, everything transferred ok but iMessage or FaceTime won’t allow phone number (only email). Tried all the troubleshooting I can find but still getting this message on both or it spins round and round when selecting the number. TIA

Try this: Sign in to your Apple ID account page and you can edit your Apple ID details.
