Parental controls for Apple Watch - content restrictions

Hi,

Can you please advise if “Allowed Websites Only” setting configured under Content & Privacy Restrictions (screen time) have also impact on WebKit integration in latest version of watchOS?

Its very easy to use WebKit integration on Apple Watch as unattended browser by simply clicking on url link in email or messages app.

There are a lot apps on iOS which are using WebKit integration but “Allowed Website Only” setting is always respected.

Therefore I think this should be treated as security bug.

Hi michalw2,

Just to clarify, were restrictions set up for the Apple Watch, but restricted content is still able to be accessed? We want to help.

Were restrictions enabled for a family member's Apple Watch using the steps outlined in the "Set up Screen Time" part of this link? Set up a family member’s Apple Watch

If Screen Time restrictions were enabled and they aren't working as expected, please reach out to Apple Support for further assistance. You may be able to reach them here: Get Support

Thanks!
