How do i save Comcast emails permanently on my computer

Comcast stops downloading emails every day because I have exceeded their limit. I am limping along going into the Comcast account and deleting messages, but this is not sustainable any longer.

I need a solution for saving important emails and documents that are saved in Mac Mail folders within my email account.

Help.
