This large grey patch has appeared on my iMac screen. I use the iMac as a target display for my Macbook Pro and everything was fine until I came back from a break. The display wouldn't boot up so I re-booted the iMac and then this mark was there. It looks a bit like condensation - any text in front of it is 'clouded'. However, condensation couldn't appear like this in a 25 minute break! Any ideas?

Appears that it was internal condensation. How it appeared in such a short space of time is a mystery, but putting a gentle warm airflow on the screen got rid of it in 15 minutes.
