Need adapter for MacPro (2013) Thunderbolt 2 port, converting to USB-C female

I need an adapter that goes in the old MacPro (2013 version) Thunderbolt 2 port, and converts it to USB-C (female). I've searched Apple, Amazon, and the web to no avail. Everything I find is intended to convert in the opposite direction. Does anyone know where I could find that?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

USB-C is a connector, and one of the protocols available via the USB-C connector can be Thunderbolt.

Since you already have Thunderbolt, I’ll assume you’re looking for something other than Thunderbolt. For USB 2.0 or USB 3.0, maybe?

If so, there are a few Thunderbolt 2 docks around (though those are to USB-A connectors and not USB-C connectors), but whether one works here?

The USB-C Thunderbolt connection is also either Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4, and not Thunderbolt 2 nor Thunderbolt 1.

If you'll check the specs for a2013 MacBook Pro, you'll see it has two Thunderbolt 2 ports. Therein lies the problem... 😊

If you were to check the details of a USB-C port, you’ll see it’s a connector spec, and not a protocol spec.

Telling us you want USB-C doesn’t tell us what you want via that USB-C.

Some things (also) available via USB-C are available.

If you want USB-C Thunderbolt connection, Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt is usually bi-directional.

Thunderbolt 2 to USB 2.0 and 3.0 is probably feasible with a dock.
