Question for Anyone who fell victim to combo cleaner

Is combo cleaner an adware/malware?? After you guys Downloaded combo cleaner did you have any other issues (did it leave malware on your computer??)

I am asking because I fell for the Download but luckily not the scam (apparently they take your credit card after making you subscribe to remove some threats that it finds on your laptop). Base on a search online which was kind of difficult because most sites call this combo cleaner legit (but it’s not) people said they tried to cancel but were constantly being charged.

i just want to know if anyone fell for this too and if it is just a scam or if it also left a malware on your computer…

i did look through the forums and saw that malwarebyte is the only thing to remove malware adware on Mac so did it. It only found some genio/oxio something or another and removed it but I’m still worried so thought I’d ask the forum to get more information or if I’m safe at this point after running malwarebyte.
