how to get data service on ipad
I recently brought a 8th generation iPad 10.2. How do I go about getting data services on my device? Other then using Wi-Fi ? That way it can be used anywhere anytime.

If you have a WiFi+Cellular model of iPad, you can setup cellular service by adding a Cellular SIM card from your chosen Cellular Carrier - or for some models, you can set-up a short term carrier plan directly from iPad settings:

If your iPad does not have a SIM slot, then you have a WiFi Only model of iPad. WiFi Only models do not have any Cellular capabilities - and hardware cannot be retrofitted. It is not possible to change or modify the internal hardware components of an iPad.
However, whilst a WiFi Only iPad cannot be transformed into a WiFi+Cellular model, you can use the hotspot feature of a mobile phone - or a Cellular Broadband Router (often known as a MiFi Router) - to access Cellular networks:
