Do you see a carrier name and signal bars? If not, see→If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


If you do see a carrier and signal bars try resetting network settings (Settings/General/Transfer or Reset Phone/Reset/Reset Network Settings)


If that doesn’t resolve the problem contact your carrier and ask about a local outage or a problem with your account. And you can also check up on them→Down Detector - outages
