after updating to the most recent software 15.2 my Safari is completely messed up! I have a white screen and can’t type in the url area for specific websites. There are many safari windows shown at the bottom of the screen and I want to go back to my old Safari screen before this update. Any suggestions?

Thank you for clarifying. In iPadOS, you can change the Safari settings by going to Settings > Safari, then scroll down to Tabs:

Thanks for the reply but the problem I’m having is with Safari on my iPad not my iPhone. The format changed with the update to 15.2 and I can’t just quickly access a website thru the url window as before.
I believe there speaking about the latest OSX Safari update. Not IOS.
Safari has shut my computer down today 11 times since the last update 2 day's ago.
This will require a call to apple soon.
