Hey, gurdev85, maybe i can help you. All Mac OSX’s have certain requirements. They are based on the year of manufacture of your mac ( or in this case,MacBookPro) .. if your mac meets those requirements then you are goid to go. this link covers Yosemite to Big Sur….

https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT211683… those sub-links should be opened with Safari. ..which will open ‘em in the App Store…
