Logitech webcam not detected when connected to external monitor

Hi,

I recently got a Logitech C920s Pro HD webcam to use with my 2019 MacBook Pro running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

The webcam works as expected when I connect it to my Mac directly, but is not detected when I connect it to a USB port on my external monitor (Acer CB342CK Model).

Are there any additional settings required to get the webcam to work when connected to an external monitor?

It is currently connected via USB-C. Was working fine prior to updating to Ventura, so my assumption is that it is related to the OS updated. Mac Book Pro M1Max.
