IPHONE TEXT TO ANDROID

Unable to text from IPHONE to Android users..

I have tried all the recommended process that I can find.

iPad texting to Android not working My iPad can not longer text android phones. I have gone through the settings and forwarded messages from my iPhone to my iPad, but there isn't an equivalent setting to sent them from iPad to iPhone. Also on the iPhone there is a setting under messages to "Send as SMS" the iPad does NOT have this setting. I am guessing this is the problem.
