Iphone 8 Plus stuck on apple logo screen and black turning screen

I woke up to my phone not working. When I unlock the phone- it turns off. Then it is stuck on the turning off screen. I've tried turning it off by resetting the phone with volume buttons and side buttons. Is there a reason this is happening? Storage issues, internal issues, or update issues?
