Why isn’t a USB C power adapter to wall current provided with iPhone I just purchased?

My point is that without my store of chords to charge my new phone I would have been unable to charge my new phone. The phone came inadequately equipped without necessary equipment to keep it functioning. Hello! I hope others will see my point. Thanks

No, most won't. Apple announced two years ago they were going to stop including EarPods (did you notice you didn't get those either) and power adapters in their iPhones. Samsung has followed suit with several of their models (and more in the future) and LG stopped prior to getting out of the smartphone business. Their point was exactly what you just mentioned people have far to many power adapters and end up throwing some away that just feeds plastic waste proliferation. Looking beyond this year when you purchase a 20W USB-C power adapter that supports fast charging (and you will probably buy more than one and it doesn't have to be from Apple. I like the Anker Nano series) the next time you buy a new phone you can keep using the power adapters you already have. It also helps competition as 3rd party mFi certified power adapters can compete with Apple.
