Audio of game app draining battery, but audio is off

I am looking through my battery usage, and I notice the one game on my phone says “audio” under it. The thing is, I have audio set to off for the game. So how is the app utilizing enough battery via the audio despite not actually having audio? Also, I don’t allow the game to run in the background.

App using audio but it’s not in the list of apps for mic permissions I was going through my settings as I’m getting a whole lot of lag with a particular puzzle game and I noticed that in the battery breakdown it says it was using audio but the app isn’t in the list of apps that have requested permission to access the microphone. Anyone know how to turn this off or what is happening? I’ve turned off the sounds within the game the first time I played it and my phone is always on silent anyway.

Iphone+game+pulledintolaptop=battery drain I have a iPhone 6 and I play a game called 'Word2' before the latest IOS update this app and iphone worked well. Now when I try to play a Solo game the battery dropped right away; while plugged into laptop. Without the laptop it drains much faster. Questions: Where do I look first? Is it the IOS? The iPhone? And what am I looking for?
