a similar question was asked but in my case, it’s an actual app that’s is running in the background even though I have turned off the background activity, closed out of app completely , put phone on airplane mode, and deleted the app completely.

Alright so there is one more thing we can try. Open settings, click General, then look for "background App refresh" click on that. The you will see on the vary top the Background App Refresh click on that. Then make sure it is set to off.

I’ve most definitely tried that already. I think it has something to do with the recent software because that had never happened before. I’ve even turned off location for that app but it’s still running in the background
