iCloud storage tax charges in Canada

My iCloud storage (with taxes - in Canada) has been unchanged since I began. It is always $3.99 + .20 for a total of $4.19 This month it has jumped to $4.47. Small potatoes, but I want to know if this is legitimate or if I'm being scammed. Thanks.

I live in BC and noticed this same additional tax charge on my account as well.

While Apple's rate of $3.99/month (for 200GB) has not gone up, the total charges including taxes have increased by $0.28/month:

Bottom Line: It's legit, BC started charging Provincial Sales Tax (7% PST) to online subscription services like Netflix, Spotify, Apple etc. It was supposed to start last year, but was delayed due to COVID.
