Using/Gaming when charging iPhone 12 mini

So I saw articles and threads saying that it is fine to charge and use your phone as long as it is kept within optimal temperature to avoid harming the battery.

My question is that does iPhone divert its power source (when charging) to whatever I’m doing (browsing, video streaming, gaming and etc) when it is fully charged to 100%?

As I saw this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250322686 answered by Mr. Lawrence Finch saying that the power source will be directed to whatever I’m doing and leave the fully charged battery aside.

I know my question is kinda answered there, but it felt like I needed more insight in this matter instead of reading from 1 discussion.
