How do I find my 4 digit passcode if I forgot it

There is nowhere to find it. All you can do is reset it by erasing the device with a restore as new using iTunes or finder.
Resetting an iPad or iPhone screen lock passcode requires it be erased. There is no option to that. After you’ve reset it, restore again using your iCloud or iTunes backup to put your data back.
