My iPad cannot updated
I couldn't update my software to a newer version which makes some apps not working
can you please help updating my software to the current version

To update your iPad, follow the steps below:
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch wirelessly
- Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
- If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.
- Tap Install Now.
If it says “Software up to Date” with the software version above it when you check for a software update, this means that your iPad is too old to run a newer iPadOS. You will then need to consider buying a new/newer iPad.
