Removing a Device from your Account:

Have your Boyfriend Perform the Following:

Go Here: Remove a device from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - Apple Support
Scroll to: Remove a device from the Devices list
Proceed from there as necessary.

He doesn’t have to, but if he is not going to use them anymore then I would suggest he removes them so when you go to use them, they only auto-connect with your Bluetooth and don’t jump from his phone to yours etc. And make sure you add them to Find My but remember they can only be tracked if they’re connected to your phone via Bluetooth, within range and out of the case.
