Can't activate iPhone 6s

i give the guy that works for me iphone 6s we use it for work ,and he used his icloud , and he is gone now and im trying to use the phone but it wont let me activate it ,i swear its my phone but ive got no proof i bought it long time second handed, and i use it for work , so please help

The AppleID that it was attached to must release the device. If the employee had his own AppleID he would have to release it.


You would have to prove the phone is yours, which you said you cannot, if you want Apple to break through the lock.
