Apple watch not charging flashes apple logo?

My watch was fine and I’ve never had an issue with it UNTIL I tried updating it. Now it’s either the red ! On screen or the apple logo appearing and disappearing over and over again. I will not pay for it to get fixed when Apple’s stupid update did this to my watch. Fix it now.
