Apple Mail Old Alerts - No Outgoing Mail Server - Massive popup spam

So I had my one macbook pro shutoff for a few months due to house remodeling and when I opened it up to configure apple mail, I have a ridiculous amount popups for old calendar alerts that are probably a year or more old. I've tried removing and re-adding these accounts on this machine with no luck.. and basically I can't use apple mail at all. Running Big Sur 11.4 on a Macbook Pro 13" Retina Mid-2014

Here is a screenshot of what I'm looking at and have no idea what to do... I've tried also going into each email account and deleting a lot of old things, but that didn't seem to help much.

I did some digging and messing around and I fixed this myself..

I basically closed Mail.app

In the terminal, after allowing full disk access, I basically to ~/Library/Mail and backed everything up.. and then removed my V2, V4, and V8 folder along with my PersistenceInfo.plist.

From here I restarted Mail.app , it prompted me with a welcome screen.. and then it closed. I opened Mail.app again and I did have all the previous popups, but I was able to close all the windows by having Option+Click on the red X button.. which proceeded to close EVERYTHING.

I then re-opened Mail.app and it works as normal.
