Videos on IPad Pro playing in slowly/slow motion

Hi there. Just bought the latest IPad Pro 2021. I am know bringing all my videos and pictures from previous devices to my camera roll/ICloud. Some of these videos were made with a GoPro in high resolution. When I play them from the camera roll they start normally but then are suddenly slow, almost like slow motion. When I copy the same video directly on the hard drive from my IPad it plays normally? Is I cloud not strong enough for direct play of 4K videos? Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance

It sounds like you're noticing some of your GoPro videos are playing slower than you'd expect when viewed on your iPad Pro after downloaded from iCloud. We can help.

In many cases the reason you might notice your GoPro videos playing slowly is that they are not in a format that is native to the device you are watching them on. If you have video editing software for your GoPro videos, see if there is an option to export the media formatted for the particular device you want to play them on. This may help with this behavior.
