i just got an iphone 11 and whenever i try to sync my icolud from my i phone 7 to the new one whenever i go to enter the id verification code it just does nothing i tried restarting and using 4g and other wifis and i tried restoring and updating the phone to the newest ios update via itunes on pc

Wondering if you have signed in to your Apple ID on the new phone yet, so it will be registered there first.
