Recently transferred contacts from LG android phone to iPhone 13 Pro; all contacts transferred ok. I have since added several new contacts on my IPhone. However, only the recently added contacts sync with iCloud, not the contacts originally transferred from the Android. What’s going on and how do I get ALL my contacts from my iPhone into iCloud?

Uncertain about references to 'mail' in the instructions which I could not find, perhaps because I'm using GMail, I'm not sure. Attempted to follow the instructions but could not get ALL of my iPhone contacts to appear in iCloud. Note that some of the iPhone contacts appeared in iCloud, those that I had added manually after transferring my LG contacts to the iPhone.

yes, my User Tip applies to those running all mail accounts through the Apple Mail app and not 3rd party mail apps.
