Free 3 months Apple TV trial with my new iPAD

I was ask to sign in for a free 3 months trial with my iPAD but when I was completing the contract I was only promised 1 week trial then I will be charged for use starting Jan 12, 2022. That is not the contract I was promised in the many emails I was sent when I received my new iPAD. Can this be updated please so I can have my 3 months free use. I was also asked to give a credit card information, why is that?

1. Click here for information. If you qualify for the offer but don't see it, contact the iTunes Store staff.

2. It's considered a subscription even while free, and requires a payment method to be on file.

Hi Niel, I am still confused, do I have 3 months free subscription or NOT? I click for information and it brought me to a screen where I hit eligibility and a whole bunch of movies and show appeared. The email I received with the contract still says 1 week and then I will be charged $5.99/month starting Jan 12, 2022. How do we update this to 3 months usage?
