Why is it taking so long for my app to download?

I barely got this phone 2 weeks ago and my apps just started downloading very slow!

Restart the phone. It should only take a few minutes unless you have hundreds of apps. And if you have a VPN connection get rid of it and delete the VPN profile and app.

Leave it plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi until the apps download. They will stop downloading when the screen locks unless you have enabled app downloads over cellular data.

I have it plugged in and it hasn’t turned to Lock Screen and I’m on wifi. It’s a new phone and it normally doesn’t take this long. It always downloads really fast!
