Black screen

How can I startup from a screen which suddenly went black? I have tried many,ey combinations, but no success.

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

This sounds like a hardware failure. I recommend that you give AppleCare a call or just book an appointment at your local Apple Authorized Service Provider to have it diagnosed.

I’m trying to get my 27” iMac to start up from a screen which suddenly went black. I upgraded to Monterey about two days before this happened. I have tried all the startup key combinations I know with no success. The startup chord sounds but that is a far as I get. Can anyone help?
