Cocoa error -1

I am trying to create a photobook from a shared album. unfortunately only 50% of the photos loaded (auto flow not used). When I tried to download the other images to my MacBook Pro I got the following message: The operation couldn't be completed. (Cocoa error-1.)

Can anyone tell me how I can resolve this and get to use the rest of the photos? I am using a MacBook Pro Retina 13" Early 2015 running Big Sur V: 11.6.2
