mac photo
My mac was running so slow. I asked my son who is in IT but not apple what I could do. He said to delete items found on my desk top. I had a file called Photos Library.photoslibrary on the desk top. I was pretty sure it was not my photos library since it shouldn't be on my desk top and it only has 106,496 bytes and my photo library as over 10 gb in photos. So I deleted it. When I tried to get into my mac photo app it couldn't be found. YIKES!
So I went to my trash and put Photos Library.photoslibrary back on my desk top. When I tried to access it I got the message that this file "could not be recognized". YIKES AGAIN!
So I went to my Time Machine backup, went to the date, found this file on the desk top and restored it. When I try to open it, I get the same message.
I don't understand why my library is on my desk top, I don't remember moving it there but there is not photo library in the picture file which is where I would have expected it to be.
Any ideas???
