Macbook camera failed after update-NDC001

After an update a while back the camera just disappeared from the MacBook. I have tried every single thing in the articles. I ran a diagnostic and got the code NDC001 indicating that there has been a hardware issue with the camera. I have read other threads where people have experienced this exact code after an update. Did anyone find a solution?

Camera failed/ defect I have a macbook pro mid2020 A2289, MacOS BigSur 11.2.3. After using Zoom Meeting so many times last week, the camera failed. I've done this tips: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 but I couldn't help at all. Is it hardware or just software problem? Please help..

If the diagnostic reported a camera issue, then you need to have the laptop repaired.
